JOIN THE NEXUS YOUTH PANEL!

The NEXUS Youth Panel is a small group of young people aged 14 to 21, who meet to help shape the future of NEXUS.

Through various workshops and activities, NEXUS creates the space for young people to connect with themselves, their ideas and with others, through dance in Chester and the surrounding area.

Being a part of the Youth Panel will give you opportunities to learn more about working in the arts, take part in workshops with industry professionals and be a part of a mentoring programme to develop your own aspirations and ideas. The group meets to discuss ideas and develop what the programme might look like in the future.

You do not need any dance experience, just an interest in dance and the arts. The sessions will not be movement based, and all sessions are completely FREE to attend! (Funding available for travel costs).

The sessions will be as follows:-

July 6th – 2- 4pm Studio @Storyhouse (Taster Session)

July 8th – Attending an evening performance at Storyhouse

July 27th -2- 4pm Studio @Storyhouse

August 10th – Attending Topsy Turvey Festival at Theatre Porto (Ellesmere Port)

September 14th -2- 4pm Studio @Storyhouse

September 28th – 2- 4pm Studio @Storyhouse

October 5th – 2- 4pm Studio @Storyhouse
