FREE Cheshire Youth Dance Sessions to launch in Chester!
This November, Cheshire Dance partners with Chester International School to offer free contemporary dance sessions for young people aged 13+.
Young people will have the opportunity to gather in Chester to explore contemporary dance and creative practice through a new series of FREE dance sessions, launching on Thursday 5 November.
Cheshire Dance (Winsford based charity), in collaboration with Chester International School, is introducing Cheshire Youth Dance Sessions, welcoming participants aged 13 and over regardless of previous experience. The 6 week initiative will take place at Chester International School Thursdays, 4:30-5:30pm, providing young people with an opportunity to develop their creativity, explore movement and engage in dance within a supportive environment.
All experience levels are welcome and sessions are free, however advance booking is essential as spaces are limited.
Cheshire Youth Dance Sessions are part of Cheshire Dance’s NEXUS Programme, which is a five year programme aiming to provide opportunities for young people to engage with dance across the Chester area, supported by The Westminster Foundation. Young people interested in taking part can reserve a place by emailing classes@cheshiredance.org. For more information about the programme, visit nexusdance.uk.
