We’re delighted that “When we meet… 5 dances’ has been officially selected for the Together! Disability Film Festival!

Together! is the biggest international Disability Film Festival in the world and takes place THIS WEEKEND (6-7 December 2025)!

Each day six programmes – Animations, Artists Films, Dance, Documentaries, Dramas and International Day of Disabled People – will be made available on their YouTube channel @together2012cic from 12noon GMT for 24 hours each.

‘When we meet… 5 dances’ is a short dance film created by film maker Sam Ryley (Canteen Create) and composer Gary Lloyd (Company Carpi) with Wanna Dance? dancers at the end of the second year of our Artist-in Residencies in 2024.

The film features Johnny, Vicky, Dylan, Leon and Beth in duets with dance artists, Ruth and Jane. Each of the duets emerged slowly, over the period of the Wanna Dance? residencies and the film captures these dances at one moment in time.
