Cheshire Dance are so excited to announce our NEXUS Young Leaders for 2026!

The Young Dance Leaders are a small group of selected young people aged 16-21, who meet at Storyhouse, Chester to develop their skills in dance and learn more about the industry.

We’re excited to introduce our Young Leaders; Gianella, Jamie, Jess, Shannen, Jayden, Leah and Izzy.

They will experience a variety of activities over the year,  including practical dance sessions, workshops with industry professionals, intensive weekends and bespoke mentoring opportunities based on the interests of our Young Leaders- we are so excited to see what they get up to and are incredibly proud to support each of their individual journeys.

Young Leaders is a part of Cheshire Dance’s NEXUS Programme, funded by The Westminster Foundation, which creates space for young people to connect with themselves, their ideas and others, through dance in and across the Chester area.
