Cheshire Dance is delighted to report that its programme is hugely resilient and stronger than ever, with engagement for the year 2021/2022 reaching 94% of pre-pandemic levels.
As gaps in society widen, Cheshire Dance’s engagement programme continues to address systemic issues around inequality. To date, some 97% of its programme focuses on working with people facing health inequalities and those with Protected Characteristics.
This has been made possible thanks to funding from Arts Council England and the CW&C Recovery & Reopening Programme, the latter which has enabled Cheshire Dance to also support high street regeneration and create moments of celebration for entire communities.
