Working with the support of the General Manager, the Administrator will be responsible for the financial and office administration of Cheshire Dance and Dance Consortia North West in the achievement of our artistic and business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a natural organiser and communicator, react well under pressure and pay close attention to detail.  We are looking for someone with proven skills in booking keeping and proficiency in the use of finance software, whilst previous experience of working in an arts or non-profit organisation is desirable but not essential.

The Administrator will also be responsible for financial and project administration, stakeholder communications, hosting meetings and in supporting deadlines.

Cheshire Dance is a registered charity that leads the artistic provision and support of dance across Cheshire.  We aim to ensure everyone has access to dance and can benefit from its transformative power.  We engage a very diverse range of participants, audiences, artists and organisations.  Many of our activities concentrate on people who have little opportunity to engage in the arts and we have an endless appetite for dance celebration through performance and events.

DCNW is a powerful consortia of dance artists, companies, venues and Higher Education institutions that are collectively responsive to the strengths, needs and specialisms of the region’s artists and organisations for the purpose of driving change and moving the sector forward.

We value diversity in our workforce as we do in our programmes.  We aim to attract a mix of applicants from different backgrounds, going further than simply reflecting the stakeholders and geographic areas we serve.
