The Arts and Education Coordinator will work with Artistic Director and Director of Learning and Participation providing administration, communication and logistics support to deliver Wired’s programme of work and assist with the efficient running of Wired’s office. It is looking for someone who has initiative, is organised and assertive, is able to multi-task and who agrees that individuality and uniqueness should be celebrated.
Wired Aerial particularly encourages applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to apply, to achieve a more diverse team and dynamic company that reflects the communities we engage.
Wired Aerial Theatre is a National Portfolio organisation (supported by Arts Council England). It has been through a two-year redevelopment period which has refocussed the team on creating its own work, making more meaningful connections within its communities and region, and upskilling its workforce and those interested in learning and working within the aerial performance industry. Wired Aerial is busy implementing its plan, following its vision of bringing dreams within reach and it is looking for someone to support its Artistic and Education Directors in delivering all three strands of its work.
The company is based in Liverpool. It is looking to move into new offices in the city centre in the next few months. Travelling to the office in the city should be considered as part of the role.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, the position remains open until filled. Work would begin immediately.
Wired Aerial will interview disabled candidates who meet the essential criteria for this role.
