Fallen Angels Dance Theatre (FADT) is seeking an Engagement Worker to join its team.

Fallen Angels has been instrumental in supporting 459 individuals through its participatory workshops. These are currently delivered in 3 communities across Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester. The workshops help to build participant confidence and self-esteem and reduce their social isolation on their pathway to recovery. These workshops are designed to support and enhance addiction and mental health recovery programmes.

Its pathway to recovery programme supports participants to sit at the heart of its creativity, developing dance skills in the workshop programme and for some, auditioning and performing in the professional programme. Through this journey, Fallen Angels shows how creative intervention can make a positive and lasting change to the lives of people in recovery from addiction.

Its performances are central to its vision to use art to develop a better understanding of addiction and recovery in the general public and provide inspiration and opportunity to participants who may not otherwise realise their full potential.

It is committed to developing and expanding its workshop programme to reach more people in recovery from addiction in the North West. It is are building a reputation for this work and has developed strong partnerships. Fallen Angels work in community settings across the region to sustain a regular workshop programme for people in recovery from addiction.

Hours 3 days per week
Overtime Time off in lieu is provided
Expenses Travel related to the post
Probationary period 3 months
Notice Period 6 weeks
Salary £20,000 pro rata per annum
