As part of Company Chameleon’s commitment to developing emerging dance talent, it’s excited to continue its apprenticeship scheme for 2024-2026, offering the opportunity for an Apprentice Company Dancer to join the team. It particularly welcomes applications from dancers from the global majority.
Audition Notice: Apprentice Company Dancer
The Apprentice Company Dancer will join the Company on a two-year paid apprenticeship programme starting in July 2024.
Company Chameleon is looking for dancers, age 21+, who are passionate about the artform and who can demonstrate a high level of commitment to their dance training and development so far, having completed a degree or equivalent.
As a core member of the creative team, you will:

Take part in the Company’s weekly training programme

Rehearse and perform in Company repertoire at theatres, events and festivals

Support the Artistic Directors in the choreographic and creative development of a wide range of projects

Actively engage in the delivery of our learning and participation programme
Whilst the role will primarily be working at the Company’s home base of Openshaw in Manchester, the successful candidate will also tour nationally and internationally throughout the year – locations will vary depending on the Company’s touring schedule and projects that are taking place.
Salary: £17,500 per annum.
