£21,000 (0.6 FTE) pro-rata
Fixed Term 13 month contract to cover maternity leave
January 2022 to January 2023
Part time 21 hrs per week – Time Off In Lieu system operates. 15 days annual leave + days for Christmas closure
Combined co-ordination and practical dance delivery role
Cheshire Dance is looking for a highly motivated dynamic individual who is passionate about dance and its value in society. The successful applicant will join a vibrant dance ecology and successful organisation. They will have previous experience of; co-ordinating programmes and/or projects with specific objectives, delivering high quality dance activities for a variety of communities and working in partnership with other non-arts sectors.
They will be an advocate for the transformative power of dance and be able to collaborate with partners to achieve shared goals, transferring their skills and knowledge into the role. In addition, they will value their own creative practice as they will others’, be a natural organiser and a great communicator.

It employs experienced artists, renowned for their person-centre and inclusive practice and it partners with organisations across the arts, voluntary and public sectors. Cheshire Dance co-designs, produces and promotes bespoke projects and events in response to need and artistic ambition. It programmes Continuing Professional Development opportunities and additionally supports more than 30 regular groups.
Cheshire Dance is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation and a founding partner of Dance Consortia North West. Other key partners include Cheshire West and Chester council and a wide range of arts, health and voluntary organisations.
