DESCRIPTION:The new National Curriculum guidance for 2027 – 2028 will be bringing dance and the arts front and centre. Ensure your school is ready for the changes and your teachers feel confident in using movement and dance in school in this twilight teacher training session from Cheshire Dance.\n\nThis FREE taster workshop will give you easy to implement ideas for bringing movement into everyday learning in a cross-curricular way.\n\nThis introductory twilight will touch on:• dance for cross curricular learning• dance in the PE curriculum• dance and movement for wellbeing• movement as classroom management\,• games and activities for developing social skills\,• use of language• safe practice and safeguarding in movement\n\nThis is an introduction or a refresher for teachers with little knowledge/confidence in delivering movement at school.\n\nPlease note\, this session is free but booking is essential.\n\nFind out more about our Dance in Schools work and download our Primary Schools Pack here.\n\nMeeting link will be sent prior to event!
