Cheshire Dance delivers an annual CPD workshop in safeguarding specifically for dance artists, teachers and facilitators who work with children under the age of 18 and adults at risk.

Safeguarding looks at what needs to happen to keep children, young people and adults at risk safe.  As dance providers we have a ‘duty of care’ to provide a safe environment that is conducive to promoting the health and well-being of these groups ensuring that they have a safe and enjoyable experience every time.

This 1 day workshop covers a wide range of subjects within safeguarding. Elements of the training can be tailored to the particular needs or priorities of your group and may include the following:-

  1. - Recent changes to safeguarding policies
