Flashmob 2011

22nd - 24th July 2011

Celebrating the Cultural Olympiad Open Weekend and raising awareness of 'The Moment When ...' performance projects.

Cheshire Dance invites you to learn and perform a dance routine and be part of the national Cultural Olympiad Open Weekend 22nd-24th July 2011.

Open to community groups anywhere, groups of employees, whole staff teams, groups of friends, families, even plucky soloists in any space you can find: your local library, in the park, in your office, at home, in the garden. Anywhere you like, so long as it's safe and legal!. All ages, all abilities very welcome.

Last year more then 13,000 people across Cheshire and Warrington took part in the infamous 20 Past 12 dance! This year we’ve chosen Lady GaGa as our inspiration.

Do you want to be part of it? This is how.

1) Sign up using the form below (if you haven't done so already)
2) Download ‘Born this Way’ by Lady GaGa to your stereo/media player
3) Choose somewhere unusual to perform at anytime that suits you during the Open Weekend 22nd- 24th July 2011.
4) Learn and perform the routine and then freestyle til your heart’s content
5) Have fun and send us any links to footage or images to info@cheshiredance.org

The Moment When 2011 Flashmobs are being promoted across the whole of Cheshire and Warrington.
